Emily Bell-Drivon Welcomes You
My 35-Year Journey
I’ll be 35 this year and in those years, I have experienced both ups and downs, trials and triumphs. My writing reflects my varied experiences, and I would like to take you on this journey with me.

The Making of an Author
Throughout the Years
From journaling as a child to writing papers in school, Emily has been writing since she can remember. She also has three Louisiana Press Association awards for her work with the West Side Journal in Port Allen, Louisiana while at LSU in 2012, 2013, and 2014. One of her stories for a journalism capstone course at LSU also made it onto the AP News Wire and subsequently several news outlets in 2012. Pictured here is Emily at a typewriter aboard a replica of Ernest Hemingway’s Pilar.

Empathy at its Finest
People First
Emily is a very empathetic person. She writes because she cares about the human experience. Having worked several customer service related jobs, Emily understands the importance of a “people first” mentality. As such, Emily is currently working on a memoir that she hopes will help people through their own similar life’s journeys.
Whoa, Halfway There!
Emily is happy to announce that she is about halfway done with her rough draft.
